Discovering Why things Happening

Discovering Why

things Happening

“The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.”

Psalms 25:14 NKJV

“And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,” Genesis 18:17 NKJV

“For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.””

Genesis 18:19 NKJV

There is a reason for anything happening in your life.

Nothing happens without a deep root cause, you have to dig or look very well inwardly and outwardly to discover why things are happening.

When good things happen you should try to figure out why.

When it is otherwise try to figure it out also.

Everything is happened for a reason.

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind” 3. Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” John 9:1-3 NKJV

This questions are good, when there is a legitimate answer.

What is going to be the purpose for a question when you cannot believe the answer given to you.

“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”” John 9:4-5 NKJV

Opening of given sight to the blind was Messianic activity. (ref. Isaiah 29:18; 42:7; 61:1-2)

Jesus Christ the Messiah, part of his work is:

““The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,” Luke 4:18 NIV

  1. Opening the eyes of the blind.(Physical and spiritual)
  2. Setting the oppressed free.

(side note)

  1. The creator God Almighty set apart the blind man like that for the coming Messiah Jesus Christ.
  2. God Almighty allowed the blind man to be like that so that what was written concerning Jesus Christ can be fulfilled and confirmed by all who are alive to proclaim it.

“When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 7. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.” John 9:6-7 NKJV

  1. Though Jesus Christ said greater works he did we will do also. But know there are some work that are not meant for the mortal man but him alone.

“And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another”” Matthew 11:2-3 NKJV

“Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5. The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.” Matthew 11:4-5 NKJV

(Side Notes:)

Not everyone will understand why things are happening in the way they are.

Jesus Christ knew that, when John the Baptist received the answer to the question he asked he will understand.

  1. Testament and confirmation of the Blind man was actually born blind John 9:8-9

“Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged” 9. Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.” He said, “I am he.”” John 9:8-9 NKJV

If God doesn’t show you, it means is not meant for you.

Focus on what you’re doing and keep on moving.

Amos 3:6-7 The word of the Lord God says

“If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have (planned it NLT) done it 7. Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:6-7 NKJV

Chill God is in control.

God has spoken from the beginning till now.

What we are seeing globally is because this generation is not listening to what God is saying.

For years you hear from this podium.

“The world is not getting better, but God’s people will get better.

Who are God’s people?

Jesus Christ gave us an answer:

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30. I and My Father are one.””

John 10:27-30 NKJV

Paul the Apostle word to his son Timothy:

“Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God [which He has laid] stands [sure and unshaken despite attacks], bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord stand apart from wickedness and withdraw from wrongdoing.” [Num 16:5; Is 26:13]” 2 Timothy 2:19 AMP

Abide in God, get rooted in him.

Hold onto Christ Jesus and his word.

God and his word are inseparable.

Paul the Apostle said, 2 Timothy 2:7

“Think over the things I am saying [grasp their application], for the Lord will grant you insight and understanding in everything.”

2 Timothy 2:7 AMP

There is reason we are where we are as a people.

When disaster strikes people tremble.

When storm is over majority goes back to their old way.

My question to us as a people is this:

  1. What are you willing to sacrifice for a better life in Christ in God.
  2. What are we willing to do away with that have allowed the uncertainty, trouble and fear of the unknown and the tension that is happening now.
  3. When this storm is eventually over will humanity and heaven above see the changes in you.

Nothing happening is outside God’s knowledge and control.

Always remember God is with you through this trouble season.

In God what’s going on is only but for a moment, this moment is a time line which only God knows.

But in the mist of all this, make your decision, choose who you will serve and when the storm is over will you keep the promise of the decision.

Next week we’ll be diving deep in knowing root cause of some mystery humanity go through.
