the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”
Psalm 13,
How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.

please!” said Jacob. “If I have found favor in your eyes, accept this gift from me. For to see your
face is like seeing the face of God, now that you have received me favorably. 11 Please accept
the present that was brought to you, for God has been gracious to me and I have all I
need.” And because Jacob insisted, Esau accepted it.

Eph 1:18-23
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope
he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. 19 I
also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe

place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. 21 Now he is far above any ruler or
authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to
come. 22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all
things for the benefit of the church.
